The Naughton Dunn Club is a regional Orthopaedic meeting held twice a year (Summer & Winter).

It is an opportunity for trainees to present research work and gain feedback on further study development, with the best paper winning a prize at each meeting.

Each meeting also hosts guest lectures, with invited speakers presenting on their topic of expertise, and inspiring the audience.

Guest Speaker – Mr Dominic Power


We are pleased to announce that the Naughton Dunn Lecture for this meeting will be given by Mr Dominic Power. Mr Power is a Consultant Hand and Peripheral Nerve Surgeon based in Birmingham. He established the West Midlands Brachial Plexus and Peripheral Nerve Injury Service in 2010, and is the lead for the service. Mr Power founded the Hand and Peripheral Nerve (HaPPeN) research network in 2015 and the UK Peripheral Nerve Clinical Research Network in 2018 to develop multi-centre clinical trial capabilities. He is chief investigator for two NIHR HTA programme multicentre trials. Mr Power is also the European founder and board member of the Global Nerve Foundation.
